Jan 2015 EurTradeNet consolidates and augments professional affiliations
As International Non-Profit Professional Association, year 2014 consolidated the ETN membership with more corporate adhesions, and definitively opened its new doors for complementary entities to also collaborate. At the beginning of the new fiscal year, a differential IT&C player joined EurTradeNet: Vivansa.
EurTradeNet-ETN was founded in 2003 with the ultimate aim to professionally represent the Customs-Related Service Providers, the companies delivering IT solutions to international traders to handle their eCustoms information exchange Europe-wide. All along its twelve years promoting a unique know-how on IT&Customs, EurTradeNet has won the acknowledgement of the Global Authorities and Regulatory Bodies in eCustoms, and is the official Trade Association representing the CRSPs at the EU analysis, the one participating at all EC consultations with economic operators.
Based in Brussels but with permanent representation abroad (Bulgaria and Luxembourg), Vivansa is a software company commercialising electronic Customs and Taxation expertise and innovative solutions. For over ten years, Vivansa has been continuously involved in the major reforms launched by the European Union in the field of eCustoms, delivering ad-hoc IT projects to the relevant EC Authorities (CUST-DEV providers of DG TAXUD).
From their unique experience serving the public side at the EU level, precisely in 2014 Vivansa also started to act as CRSP to help big traders based in Luxembourg to address customs compliance and streamlined logistics operations, planning to extend this new business to other private operators and geographical areas. EurTradeNet is proud to add the specialised know-how and influence capacity of Vivansa as ETN Affiliate, eventually becoming an ETN Regular Member if stably delivering as CRSP.
Both Vivansa and EurTradeNet-ETN aim to promote better eCustoms facilitation through the proper professional performance, compiling specialised information, analysing the sector effects, and making well-informed proposals to influence key players like the EC Authorities in charge of new directives and regulations.
Under bona fide principles, the adhesion to EurTradeNet allows mutual assessment of the values offered by each party, the joint commitment towards a common vision and shared goals, and the respectful fulfilment of ETN professional cooperation.
The EurTradeNet – ETN Association keeps growing and is in constant search for complementary expertise to add to its unique professional network. Please see our current ETN knowledge map.
